What is LiquidSky?
LiquidSky was a cloud gaming platform that allowed players to stream PC games to virtually any device — including Android phones — without the need for expensive hardware. Acquired by Walmart in 2018 and rebranded as a Walmart Technology company, LiquidSky competed in the emerging cloud gaming space alongside services like Google Stadia. The platform served over 1 million users globally before being discontinued in early 2020.
My Contributions
As Head of Community at LiquidSky, I owned the brand's community, social, and influencer presence — leading a global team and managing the company's highest-profile marketing moments, including a seven-figure product launch activation.
Directed a $1.2M influencer marketing program, orchestrating a multi-day product launch activation with top-tier creators Ninja, TimTheTatman, and Markiplier — extending the campaign's reach to tens of millions of gaming fans.
Built and led a global team of six community moderators providing 24/7 audience management across Discord and company forums for a platform with 1M+ users.
Developed and managed social content strategy across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch to grow brand awareness and community engagement.
Analyzed player feedback and surfaced actionable product insights to development teams, improving user experience and platform performance.
Produced instructional YouTube videos and developer blog content supporting user onboarding, game performance optimization, and developer recruitment.
