What is SpiritHoods?
SpiritHoods is a Los Angeles-based faux-fur fashion brand born out of the festival and music culture of the early 2010s. Known for its distinctive animal-inspired hoods and accessories, the brand built a passionate following through celebrity placements, influencer partnerships, and a strong community-driven social presence — growing from a festival staple into a globally recognized fashion label.
My Contributions
As Social Media Manager, I helped build SpiritHoods' online presence from the ground up during a pivotal period in the brand's early growth.
Managed social media content creation and community engagement across Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare, growing the brand's digital footprint during a critical early growth phase.
Built and launched a brand ambassador program, recruiting local celebrities, online personalities, and influencers to extend brand reach and drive awareness.
Produced and curated content for social channels and the brand blog, maintaining a consistent voice across platforms.
Participated in the Twitter Ads beta program, gaining early hands-on experience with paid social advertising before its public launch.
Drove community engagement through giveaways, contests, and fundraisers, fostering an active and loyal fan base.
Developed Google Analytics dashboards to track performance and inform content and campaign strategy.
